Dr Richardson founded and serves as the CEO of Women of Heart Awards WOHA and Face of WOHA. WOHA aims to honour exceptional women who are truly transforming the world. These ladies empower and educate young girls to become self-sufficient and future leaders, inspire love and generosity, and motivate others to give back.
Women of Heart Awards was founded in 2013, launched in 2020 as WOHA London, and later expanded into the Middle East. On June 29, 2025, WOHA Dubai held its inaugural event in the luxurious 5-star Dusit Thani Hotel, patronised by Her Highness Sheikha Salama Tahnoon Al Nahyan, with the theme “Empowering the World Together!”

Dr Richardson’s journey to becoming a global icon is incredibly motivating. She shared in an interview, “I grew up in the West Indies on the little British Caribbean island of Anguilla. Because my family was not well off, I was overlooked despite being raised by a single parent. It moved me, and even as a little girl, I decided to strive for women’s empowerment. These traumatic experiences at a young age shaped me into the woman I am today.”
Dr Richardson began her career as a media personality, producer, and onstage hostess. Her work and experience in media allowed her to connect with diverse audiences, share stories, and create platforms for others to be heard. This period of exploration brought both challenges and triumphs, each contributing to her growth and resilience.
In 2020, she took a pivotal step toward realising her aspiration for empowerment and healing. She launched Face of WOHA, a platform designed to empower and uplift women globally.
