Services
- Acute Wounds & Burns
The clinic’s team of trained nurses has Accident and Emergency, Tissue Viability, Urgent Care, and Community Care experience to deal with a wide range of wounds and burns. It will assess your wound, discuss your options, include you in the decision process, and advise on the most appropriate treatment. It can offer a one-off appointment for a dressing change while you await your next GP appointment, or see your care from start to finish with its treatment options starting from £30. This service includes wound closure, dressings, animal bites, and tetanus boosters as required.
- Post Surgery Wounds
It provides immediate assessment of your wound following surgery to offer reassurance and treatment to aid in optimum healing. Its team of wound-trained professionals will spot any wound complications and promptly manage them to prevent slow or stalled progress. Its post-op service includes wound checks, suture removals, clip removals, dressing changes, packing of incision, and drainage wounds, just to name a few.
- Chronic Wounds
Wounds that fail to progress through the normal phases of healing in a timely fashion and do not show any progression at 4 weeks become chronic. A wound may not heal as quickly as it should for a variety of reasons, including pressure, immobility, ulceration, diet, injury, diabetes, and other chronic conditions. It will work with you to establish why your wound is not healing and try to implement the best treatment and strategies with regular reviews. Takavarasha is a dedicated nurse who has worked in acute, emergency, and community health settings, independently diagnosing and treating a wide range of patients of all ages who present with a variety of diseases and injuries.
“We were inspected and rated Good by the Care Quality Commission, which uses 5 key standards to inspect to see if a business is safe, effective, caring, responsive, and well-led. We were found to be good in each standard, which is a great achievement. In addition, we have many wonderful 5-star Google reviews and currently maintain our 5-star rating,” she said during a recent interview.
