It is impossible to overstate the significance of educators like Nada, as education is widely recognized as a major factor in a nation’s economic development and growth.

In 2023, Nada launched MyTeacher which is definitely a revolutionary initiative. MyTeacher is a mobile application that matches and connects students with certified school and university teachers for online (or in person) tutoring sessions, wherever they are located and whenever they need it, bringing personalized, flexible learning that’s built on human interaction and real time support to help students grow and thrive and to allow teachers to reach them globally and make a significant impact.

Global Impact

Nada has distinguished herself as a transformative force in education on a worldwide scale. MyTeacherApp’s gold membership in the International Chamber of Commerce in France and Lebanon is a testament to its influence on a global level.

Awards & Recognitions

Nada has received several honors for her exceptional contributions to education. Gulf News and BeingShe most recently named MyTeacher the Best Education App in the Excellence in Education category.

From Civil Engineer to Widely Admired Education Leader

Nada began her career as a civil engineer working for several multinational corporations. However, a deeper passion—the desire to teach students and make a difference in their lives—was always there.

During her years of teaching, Nada witnessed the difficulties that students, parents, and teachers encountered, from the lack of flexibility in learning to the need for more personalized support and connection. She realized things needed to change.

This realization, along with her own parenting experiences and online classes at Columbia and Harvard, led to the creation of MyTeacher, a platform that aims to bridge the gap between teachers and students in a meaningful and impactful way.

Success comes to those who embrace challenges. Nada is a wonderful example of this. She put forth a lot of effort and conquered many obstacles to become the woman she is now.

Under her astute direction, MyTeacher has grown to become a platform with over 100 active teachers and hundreds of students across three continents. MyTeacher facilitates individualized, flexible, one-on-one learning between certified teachers and students at a time that works for both parties.

The objective is to enable all students to develop in the way that best suits them, to provide teachers with the freedom to teach with purpose, and to make high-quality education accessible.

Nada has made too many contributions to the field of education to mention them all here. It wouldn’t be inaccurate to argue that she has emerged as one of the most inspiring women in education.
