Tricia is a multi-ethnic woman who resides in British Columbia, Canada.
She is a registered Clinical Counselor, Coach, and Entrepreneur.
She is also a Diversity Equity and Inclusion Consultant for Higher Education Organizations and the host of the Meta Transitions podcast and YouTube channel.
She has extensive counseling expertise and has a track record of employing the Bowen Family System Approach to provide both individual and family treatment.
She has worked as a clinical practicum student at the Pacific Community Resource Society, the Salvation Army, and most recently, as an FLA co-parenting family counselor at the Westcoast Family Center.
Tricia is the owner of Metamorphose Counselling and Consultation Ltd. Metamorphose Counseling was founded in 2018 with the incredible goal of using mental health initiatives to reach over 100 million individuals worldwide from diverse backgrounds.

Tricia’s story is truly inspiring. She was raised in a middle-class family with her parents and two brothers on the lovely island of Jamaica.
She moved to Ontario, Canada, with her family when she was nineteen. Her lack of Canadian education and experience as an immigrant made it difficult for her to get employment and attend school.
She discovered that she would have to repeat her senior year of high school after researching how to apply to Canadian universities to continue her studies.
She fulfilled the criteria with much perseverance and the support of friends. She was granted admission to York University to study psychology for her bachelor’s degree.
Later, she earned her Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Adler University in British Columbia, Canada
She worked part-time and occasionally full-time jobs when she was a student in order to pay for her tuition.
Success comes to those who embrace challenges. Tricia is a great example of this.
She worked very hard and overcame many challenges to become the lady she is today.
