The beauty pageant industry has managed to grow into a sizable worldwide sector. According to industry estimates, the global beauty pageant industry is expected to reach a valuation of $6.7 billion by 2025.
A few female entrepreneurs in the beauty pageant industry have established themselves and become prominent figures, serving as inspiration for the next wave of female entrepreneurs. Angela Posillico, the CEO and creator of Ms. Latina International and Ms. International World is one of these female role models in business.

Angela’s story of transformation is engrossing and provides invaluable lessons for others who want to be successful entrepreneurs. She has extensive experience working in various capacities inside pageant systems. Having worked with nearly every major line in the nation, she has over 27 years of expertise in the cosmetics industry. She even spent 12 years working as a trainer for Lancome. When she worked at a make-up station, pageant contenders would often come in and ask for help applying makeup.
At one point, one of the competitors recruited her to attend her pageant and be her makeup artist. She continued to work as a makeup artist for pageants, giving her a foot in the door, until eventually, she started competing in many pageants.
Thank you to her incredible accomplishments and never-ending efforts, she was able to create the Ms. Latina International Pageant, where women with at least 25% Latin background may compete. In order to provide women without a Latino heritage with an esteemed platform, she founded the Ms. International World Pageant in 2007.
Strong leadership is necessary to drive business growth and achieve long-term success. Under Angela’s shrewd leadership, both Ms. Latina International and Ms. International World are growing quickly and they are turning into enormous platforms that provide young women with opportunities in the modeling, entertainment and business industries.
Angela is the chair and coordinator of the Global Trade Chamber’s 100 Successful Women in Business Fashion Show. The mission of the 100 Successful Women in Business Network is to connect, educate, honor, and promote women in business globally.
Angela’s accomplishments are just too many to mention here. Mrs. New Jersey Globe in 1996 and Ms. Morganville New Jersey US of A in 1997 are two of her pageant titles. In addition, she served as the Mrs. Globe Organization’s New Jersey State Director from 1997 to 2000. In 1997, she was given the title of “Director of the Year” by the organization.
Angela is the recipient of the 100 Successful Women in Business Award, the Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award and the 2022 Leadership Award from She Exist. The Ms. International World Organization won Best Female Fashion Show and Talent Management Organization USA in the Lux Global Excellence Awards 2023.
In addition to being a successful entrepreneur, Angela is a fantastic host and motivating speaker. She has hosted the Miami Salsa Congress, Miami Metropolitan International Fashion Week, Orlando International Fashion Week, the esteemed Mrs. U.S. Globe Awards, and the International Sunny Isles Fashion Show.
